General
For 47 years, the International Easter tournament is played during the three-day weekend of Easter. Each age group plays a complete tournament schedule for one day. On Saturday the U12 starts, followed by U13 on Sunday and U15 completes the tournament on Monday.
Game plan
The participating teams are divided into 2 groups of 5 (or 4) teams per pool. The teams play against each other within the group. After the group stage the highest finished 2 teams from both groups play against each other in a semi-final (numbers 1 against the numbers 2 of the other pool). The winners of the semi-finals play in a final for the 1st and 2nd place; the losers for the 3rd and 4th place. All other teams from the group play one match against a team from the other group for the final ranking. The duration of the game is 1×25 minutes for all age groups. All categories play 11 against 11 according to the rules of the KNVB, the Dutch Football Association, supplemented with the tournament regulations.
